University Hospitals will cover the following event expenses for you and one (1) sous chef:

  • Roundtrip airfare (coach)

  • Hotel stay at the Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Tower

  • Airport transportation in Cleveland via Uber voucher

  • Transportation to and from the event site​​​

Air Travel and Hotel Stay​

Secure your air travel and hotel stay by completing the Travel Intake found below or on the forms page.  Important note:  The travel form must be completed individually by you and your sous chef. A separate form is required for each traveler.  Once you've submitted the form, you will receive an e-mail from groupsoh@dt.com to approve your travel itinerary. You must provide approval within 24 hours receiving that e-mail.

Hotel confirmations will be communicated closer to event date.

Ground Transportation via Uber

For airport and weekend transportation once you arrive in Cleveland, each chef and sous chef will receive a $100 Uber voucher to be used for airport and other transportation throughout the weekend.  

Uber voucher codes will be communicated closer to event date. 


To apply your Uber voucher code to your account, you’ll need to pull up the Uber app:

  • Once in the app, click on the “Wallet” icon in the top center of the screen

  • Scroll down until you see “Vouchers”

  • Then click on the “+ Add voucher code”​

Event Arrival 

For Local Chefs Driving Themselves to the Event​

Please feel free to come by anytime between 12PM - 4PM on Saturday to begin setting up. You will need to print out and display a parking pass to park on site, which you can find via this website or the welcome email. If you are unable to print, please show the digital copy to security.​​

Are you experiencing travel delays or cancellations?
If you booked your Travel via UH’s partner, Direct Travel and are experiencing any travel delays or issues, call 440-602-8020 OR 888-740-8747.

If you need assistance outside of normal hours of operation (Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm), please PRESS 1 FOR EMERGENCY and you will be transferred to the Direct Travel 24-hour service line.
